Welcome to the Meriwether County School System!!! 

You may use the directions below or another source from the internet; however, sometimes a GPS or other map may direct you to Gaston ROAD, which is not the same as Gaston STREET.

DIRECTIONS TO MERIWETHER COUNTY BOE FROM INTERSTATE 85 South:

Take the US 29/US 27 Alt. exit (Exit 41) toward Moreland/Greenville.

Take the ramp toward Moreland 0.2 mile.

Turn onto US 29 S / GA 14 S / US 27 Alt. S / Jefferson Davis Memorial Highway. 

Continue to follow US 27 Alt. south; about 22 miles.

When you reach the courthouse square in Greenville, you will have to travel ¾ of the way around the square so that you continue south on US Alt. toward Warm Springs and Pine Mountain.

As soon as you take the right turn off the square onto US 27 Alt. south, you will take the first street to the left, College Street.  You will be able to see the Board of Education building at the top of the little hill.  Come to the BOE and park in front. 

DIRECTIONS TO MERIWETHER COUNTY BOE FROM INTERSTATE 85 North:

Take state road 109 (Exit 18) in LaGrange toward Greenville.

Continue to follow highway 109 approximately 16 miles.   When you reach the courthouse in Greenville, you will travel 1/3 of the way around the square so that you continue south on US 27 south toward Warm Springs and Pine Mountain.

Take the first street to the left – College Street. The Board of Education is at the top of the hill.

DIRECTIONS TO MERIWETHER COUNTY BOE FROM INTERSTATE 75:

Take Exit 163, GA 74 W / Mercer University Drive, in Macon.

Go west on GA 74 past the Macon Mall and through Macon.

Stay on GA 74 W through Yatesville and Thomaston until it dead ends into GA 109.  You will travel approximately 60 miles on GA 74.

Turn left onto GA 109 and continue west on GA 109 through Woodbury and into Greenville, 11-12 miles.

As you come into Greenville on GA 109, you will be facing the courthouse.  You will need to travel ¾ of the way around the square so that you continue south on US Alt. toward Warm Springs and Pine Mountain.

As soon as you take the right turn off the square onto US 27 Alt. south, you will take the first street to the left, College Street.  You be able to see the Board of Education building at the top of the little hill.  Come to the BOE and park in front.

ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS TO MERIWETHER COUNTY BOE FROM INTERSTATE 75:

Take Exit 142, GA 96, toward Housers Mill Road.  You will be in Fort Valley.

Turn left onto GA 96.

After about 8 miles, turn right to stay on GA 96.  Turn slight right onto Commercial Heights / US 341 /GA 7 / GA 96 / Peach Blossom Trail.  Continue to follow GA 96 for a little over 37 miles.  You will go through Reynolds.  You will see signs to indicate that you are bypassing Butler and Howard.  Be careful not to miss the next turn onto GA 90.

Turn right onto GA 90 and go about 6.5 miles.

After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right onto US 80 / GA 208 / GA 22 / GA 41 / Washington Avenue.  You are now in Talbotton.  Continue to follow GA 41 for 14 miles into Manchester.

Turn left and follow US 27 / GA 41 for about 5 miles into Warm Springs.  Turn left at the stop sign.

Travel north on US 27 / Roosevelt Highway for about ten miles.  As you come into Greenville you will pass a hardware store, a Piggly Wiggly, and a Flash Foods on your left. Turn right just before the stop sign onto College Street.  You will be looking at the BOE at the top of the hill.
