Parents and schools need to work together as partners for the betterment of our students. Parents play an important role in providing support and building the confidence of their children. Parents should check some of the tips and activties they can use to develop their children’s confidence and improve their school experience.

In Meriwether County School System Schools, there are several websites that students access frequently as a supplement to classroom lessons.

Edmodo is a site that allows on-line interactive access between our students and teachers. It is a facebook-like site where students can actually take tests, view assignments, and submit assignments. Parents can be given a parent code to access this site and will be able to view what their students are doing in the classes that use Edmodo. A parent account will need to be created - but it's FREE!!

Khan Academy is a terrific study site that can assist students in all grades and all subject areas with day-to-day assignments as well as a testing supplement website. This site adds new material frequently.
