After follow-up dialogue with Georgia Department of Public Health, the Meriwether County Schools adhere to and notify stakeholders of the following:

  •        In-person instruction for traditional learners will resume on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at BOTH Middle Schools and High Schools.
  •        Continue to be mindful of safety practices regarding COVID-19 such as wearing face masks, social distancing, and monitoring COVID-related symptoms.
  • All 21st Century Program activities will resume on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
  • All sports related activities will resume on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Please be aware that updated guidelines regarding attendance at athletic events will be released by the Middle School or High School that have team(s) in season.
