July 20, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I want to make you all aware of the fact that the Meriwether County Schools will have call-in meetings on both Monday and Tuesday July 27-28, 2020 at 6 PM to allow the public to provide input regarding the start of school.  The dates, times, and links for the calls are below:

Monday, July 27, 2020 at 6 PM:

Tuesday July 28, 2020 at 6 PM:

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85984910097

Meriwether County Schools will continue to communicate updates as our Reopening Plan becomes finalized primarily through the district website: www.mcssga.org. Once all input and data are considered, the school system will publicize a Reopening Plan for the restart of school on or before July 31, 2020. Please keep in mind that as situations change, these plans may change.

We have tremendous community and parental support, and we do not take those relationships for granted. I encourage your feedback as we realize this pandemic has created undue stress on our students, parents, and staff.

We appreciate our students, parents, and staff, and we want to be there for each of you.

Thank you,

Superintendent Dr. Robert Griffin
